Christian Doidge is expected to make his debut, as Bolton return from the international break with a home clash against Queens Park Rangers.

Having come from two-down to claim a 2-2 draw at Preston North End a fortnight ago, Wanderers go into the weekend occupying 9th place in the Championship table - three points behind the top-two of Leeds United and Middlesbrough.

Doidge, who arrived from Forest Green Rovers in the final moments of the summer loan window, is likely to feature in attack after Josh Magennis picked up a calf injury whilst on duty with Northern Ireland.

Clayton Donaldson is another name who could come into contention, although Connor Hall is unavailable until January after joining Accrington Stanley on loan.

The likes of Sammy Ameobi, Will Buckley, Craig Noone and Yanic Wildschut will all be competing for places on the wings after being given two weeks to recover from their early-season exploits, but Andrew Taylor looks set to miss out at left-back after limping off last time out with a thigh strain.

Jonathan Grounds is the most likely to fill the void, although Pawel Olkowski could switch to the opposite side of the back-four to allow Mark Little a route back into the team.

Bolton Wanderers: from: Alnwick, Matthews, B Williams, Little, Taylor, Beevers, Hobbs, Olkowski, Wilson, Darby, Grounds, Wheater, Lowe, Vela, Oztumer, Ameobi, Buckley, Noone, Murphy, O'Neil, J Williams, Wildschut, Donaldson, Doidge, Magennis
