Oliver Langford will referee Saturday's Sky Bet Championship fixture between Bolton and Queens Park Rangers at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw at Preston North End before the international break, while the Hoops held Birmingham City to a goalless draw at St Andrew's that same afternoon.

Langford, who will take charge of the game, has officiated five matches so far this season - issuing 11 yellow cards and one red.

His most recent outing was on August 28, when he was the man in the middle for Derby County's 4-0 victory at Hull City in the Carabao Cup. The West Midlands official produced four yellow cards at the KCOM Stadium, of which three were shown to members of the losing hosts.

Langford's last match in charge of Bolton was on April 3, when they were beaten 1-0 by Birmingham City in a Championship clash at Macron Stadium. Two cautions were issued that evening, while Blues forward Che Adams was also dismissed.

The last time he refereed a QPR fixture was on April 10, as they ran out 4-2 winners over Sheffield Wednesday in a Championship encounter at Loftus Road. Two players entered the book that night, with Rangers midfielder Josh Scowen amongst the recipients.
