Stalybridge Celtic have taken Bolton goalkeeper James Aspinall on an initial one-month work experience loan, after Jake Turner picked up an injury.

Aspinall, who has featured twice for Wanderers' second string this season, will go straight into the Celts' squad for their game with Radcliffe Borough on Saturday.

The move comes about after Turner was ruled out for between six and eight weeks, having suffered a broken wrist prior to their 1-0 defeat against South Sheilds on Tuesday.

The 19-year-old has been in impressive form for the Northern Premier League side, for whom he picked up their Player of the Month award for August.
