Lee Probert will referee Wednesday's Sky Bet Championship fixture between Bolton and Birmingham City at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 1-0 victory at Reading on Saturday, while City were held to a goalless draw by Swansea City the previous evening.

Probert, who will take charge of the game, has officiated one match so far this season - issuing three yellow cards and no red.

His most recent outing was on August 11, when he was the man in the middle for Gillingham's 3-1 victory over Burton Albion in League One.

Probert's last match in charge of Bolton was in December 2016, when they were 3-2 winners over Sheffield United in an FA Cup second-round tie at Macron Stadium. Two cautions were issued that afternoon, both of which went to members of the losing Blades side.

The last time he refereed a Birmingham fixture was on January 13, as they lost 3-0 to Derby County in a Championship encounter at St. Andrew's. Four players entered the book that day, with Blues midfielder Maikel Kieftenbeld one of those to have had his name taken.

Below is the full set of officials for Wednesday's game between Bolton and Birmingham City:
