John Brooks will referee Saturday's Sky Bet Championship fixture between Bolton and Bristol City at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-1 victory at West Bromwich Albion last Saturday, while City were held to a 1-1 draw by Nottingham Forest on the same afternoon.

Brooks, who will take charge of the game, has officiated one match so far this season - issuing five yellow cards and no red.

His most recent outing was on the opening day, when he was the man in the middle for Sunderland's 2-1 win over Charlton Athletic in a League One encounter at the Stadium of Light.

Brooks has never previously refereed either Bolton or Bristol City, with this clash being just his fifth at Championship level.

Below is the full set of officials for Saturday's game between Bolton and Bristol City:

Referee: John Brooks
Assistant Referees: Philip Dermott and Akil Howson
Fourth Official: Sebastian Stockbridge
