Bolton have completed the signing of Yanic Wildschut, who joins the club on a season-long loan deal from Norwich City.

Wildschut, who joined the Canaries in a reported £7million move from Wigan Athletic in January 2017, has made just 13 starts in all competitions for Daniel Farke's side and spent the second half of last season on loan at Cardiff City.

The 26-year-old becomes Phil Parkinson's fifth senior signing of the summer - following Jason Lowe, Erhun Oztumer, Clayton Donaldson and Pawel Olkowski - and is potentially playing for his future, with his contract at Norwich set to expire at the end of the campaign.

Speaking to bwfc.co.uk about the move, Wildschut said: "It feels great to be here. I spoke to the manager this morning and he gave me a good feeling - he made me want to sign for Bolton Wanderers with what he said to me.

"I have been in England now for four years and I think I know how the league works. Hopefully I can help the club to have a very good season in 2018/19."
