Bolton have declared an interest in taking out-of-favor Norwich City midfielder Yanic Wildschut on loan this season.
Wildschut, a £7million signing from Wigan Athletic in January 2017, has 12 months remaining on his contract at Carrow Road and appears unlikely to add to the 13 starts he has made in all competitions since.
The 26-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Cardiff City, whom he represented 10 times as they achieved promotion to the Premier League, and looks set to see out the final year of his deal away from the Canaries - with the club unlikely to recoup the fee they paid.
Wigan are reported to be keen on re-signing their former player, while Norwich's fierce rivals Ipswich Town are also said to be showing an interest.
