Hull City have completed the signing of Reece Burke from West Ham United, in a deal reported to have been in the region of £1.5million.

Burke, who made 26 appearances whilst on loan at Bolton last season, has signed a three-year contract at the KCOM Stadium, with the Tigers having an option of extending the deal by a further 12 months.

The 21-year-old had been at West Ham since the age of nine but had become increasingly frustrated at a lack of first-team opportunities at the London Stadium and believes dropping into the Championship once again will give him the platform his career needs.

"I'm over the moon to have signed for Hull City," Burke told

"I enjoy playing football and I see this move as a big opportunity for me. I've had a good chat with the Head Coach and I know that the Club were really keen to bring me here. That is a nice feeling to have."
