Connor Hall has committed his future to Bolton, signing a new contract that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2020.

Hall, who scored 22 goals as Wanderers' under-23 side secured the Professional Development League National title last season, was already tied to the Trotters after they activated an option on his existing deal at the start of the month.

The 20-year-old has been rewarded for a remarkable debut campaign at Macron Stadium, however, and has set his sights on adding to his solitary first-team appearance - which came in an FA Cup third-round defeat to Huddersfield Town in January.

Speaking to bwfc.co.uk, Hall said: "It feels brilliant to have signed a new deal with the club.

"I had a good season in 2017/18, so it's fantastic to have been rewarded for my efforts and I can't wait to kick on for Bolton Wanderers this term."

Meanwhile, Bolton have confirmed they have handed professional contracts to Harry Brockbank, Liam Edwards, Joe Muscatt and Dennis Politic, all of whom were regular names on David Lee's under-23 teamsheet last season.

Brockbank, who has been an unused substitute on two separate occasions at first-team level, is a 19-year-old central defender who has progressed through the academy ranks at Macron Stadium.

Edwards, a 21-year-old who also plays at centre-back, captained the under-23's to success last season having arrived from Stoke City, for whom he made two senior outings in the Checkatrade Trophy in 2016/17.

Muscatt joined Wanderers following his release from Tottenham Hotspur last summer. The 20-year-old's primary position is on the left-hand side of defence, although he is also capable of lining up on the opposite flank.

Finally, Politic, a youth international for Romania, arrived at the club's Lostock training base in March 2017. The 18-year-old central midfielder was on target in the Professional Development League Play-Off final in May.

All four have agreed deals that will run through until the end of the upcoming season.
