Ben Amos' desire to play his football away from Bolton may be granted, after Millwall emerged as potential candidates for his signature.
Amos, who has 12 months remaining on a reported £16,000-per-week contract at Wanderers, hasn't played a league game for the club in more than two years and has since spent time on loan at both Cardiff City and Charlton Athletic.
Speculation linking him with a return to the Addicks continues to do the rounds in the London press, but a move just five miles west could provide the 28-year-old with an opportunity to resurrect his career at Championship level.
Millwall were promoted to the second tier alongside Bolton in 2016/17 and finished just three points shy of a play-off place at the end of last season.
