Chris Taylor has agreed terms on a deal which will see him join Blackpool when his contract at Bolton comes to an end on June 30.

Taylor, who joined Wanderers on a free transfer from Blackburn Rovers in July 2016, has penned a 12-month contract at Bloomfield Road with an option of a further year.

During his two-year stint at Macron Stadium, Taylor made just 23 appearances for the Trotters - of which only seven were from the start of games - while he failed to figure at all throughout the duration of the 2017/18 campaign.

After completing his move to the Seasiders, Taylor admitted he is looking forward to getting back on the field after reuniting with his former Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer.

"Playing week in, week out, after the year I've had, I just want to be back on the grass playing football," Taylor told Official Blackpool FC on YouTube.

Taylor will make the move official on July 1.
