Ken Anderson has revealed accounts for the financial year ending June 30, 2017, will be submitted by the end of the month.

Anderson, who celebrated two years as a director of Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, says the club are in a position to meet the upcoming deadline, with debt levels said to be at their 'lowest for many years'.

Latest accounts, for the financial year ending June 30, 2016, showed Wanderers to have an outstanding debt of £26.2million but the chairman insists things are turning in the right direction at Macron Stadium.

"We will be filing our audited accounts later this month on time and these will be publicly viewable on our website," Anderson told bwfc.co.uk.

"We will also be holding the AGM and we'll be in a position to confirm the date very soon.

"Our debt levels are now at the lowest for many years and the last quarter's management accounts were the best since I have been involved at the club.

"A lot of hard work is still required going forward but I have nothing but praise for the club's staff for their passion, diligence and loyalty to the cause."
