Peter Bankes will referee Saturday's Sky Bet Championship fixture between Bolton and Preston North End at Macron Stadium.
Wanderers go into the game on the back of a goalless draw at Norwich City last Saturday, while the Lilywhites were beaten 1-0 at home by Ipswich Town that same afternoon.
Bankes, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 32 matches so far this season - issuing 109 yellow cards and eight red.
His most recent outing was on February 24, when he was the man in the middle for Fulham's 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Championship. The Merseyside official produced three yellow cards at Craven Cottage, two of which went to members of the losing side.
Bankes' last match in charge of Bolton was on January 20, when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Ipswich Town in a Championship clash at Macron Stadium. Two cautions were issued that afternoon, with Wanderers forward Gary Madine amongst the recipients.
The last time he refereed a Preston fixture was on January 6, as they ran out comfortable 5-1 winners over Wycombe Wanderers in an FA Cup third-round tie at Adams Park. One player entered the referee's book that afternoon - North End substitute Andy Boyle.
