Bolton midfielder Jeff King has returned to non-league football, joining FC United of Manchester on a one-month loan deal.

King, who joined Wanderers from Droylsden in late 2016, signed professional forms at Macron Stadium in July 2017 and has made three senior appearances for Phil Parkinson's side - making his debut against West Ham United at London Stadium last September.

The 22-year-old has been tipped for a bright future with the Trotters but is due to fall out of contract at the end of the season, casting doubt over his future at the Championship club.

FC United currently occupy 17th position in the National League North standings and travel to struggling AFC Telford United on Saturday.
