Bolton hit the road for the second time in five days at the weekend, when they make the long journey to Queens Park Rangers.

After losing 2-0 at Cardiff City on Tuesday, Wanderers will swap the Welsh capital for the English on Saturday as they run out at Loftus Road.

Phil Parkinson's side will begin the afternoon two points and three places clear of the relegation zone but know they must improve the Championship's worst away record, having taken just eight points on their travels all season.

A major boost to those hopes could be the return of captain Darren Pratley, who has been out of action since breaking his leg in the New Year's Day victory over Hull City.

Pratley returned to full training during the week, well ahead of schedule, and could line-up alongside former QPR man Karl Henry in the middle of the park.

Another face that could feature is that of Jem Karacan, who hasn't figured since a 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa last September.

Craig Noone is considered a doubt after missing the last three games with a knee injury, while Aaron Wilbraham (calf) is expected to miss out once more, but Will Buckley is definitely out as he continues his recovery from a hamstring strain.

Reece Burke was preferred ahead of David Wheater in midweek, but the two could switch roles with the former dropping to the substitutes' bench, while selection in attack is likely to depend upon who out of Adam Le Fondre, Kyle Walker or Zach Clough can partner Sammy Ameobi.
