Aaron Wilbraham could be set for a deadline day move away from Bolton, after it emerged Rochdale have made an enquiry over his availability.

Wilbraham joined Wanderers on a free transfer from Bristol City last August and has made 18 appearances during his brief time at Macron Stadium. He has yet to start in league competition, however, after serving as backup to Gary Madine, and the 38-year-old could be granted the chance to seek pastures new as he looks to bring down the curtain on his career.

Any move could hinge on the outcome of Madine's potential switch to Cardiff City though, after the 27-year-old was granted permission to undergo a medical ahead of a proposed transfer that could eventually be worth £6million.
