Bolton have completed a hat-trick of deadline day signings, following the announcement that Liverpool defender Jon Flanagan will spend the rest of the season on loan at the club.

With the arrival of both Tyler Walker and Reece Burke already confirmed, Flanagan becomes Wanderers' fourth signing of the January transfer window - in addition to Everton midfielder Harry Charsley.

The 25-year-old, who has progressed through the Reds' academy to make more than 50 senior appearances, has featured just once this season and was recently sentenced to 40 hours of unpaid work and handed a 12-month community order after being found guilty of assaulting his girlfriend in Liverpool City Centre.

Flanagan's contract at Anfield isn't due to expire until the summer of 2019, although off-field circumstances and a lack of first-team action this season almost certainly cast doubts over his future at the club.
