Dutchman in Bolton's Sights as Madine Interest Heats Up

Bolton have declared their interest in signing Dutch forward Michiel Kramer from Feyenoord, on a day where they have also turned down two further offers from Cardiff City for Gary Madine.

Kramer, who has been with the Dutch champions since the summer of 2015, has scored 19 goals in 62 appearances for his hometown club, but hasn't featured since November and could be moved on ahead of Wednesday's transfer deadline.

Cardiff's renewed interest in Madine has sparked concern at Macron Stadium, however, with the 27-year-old yet to put pen-to-paper on a new deal after Wanderers had previously rejected two offers reported to have been in the region of £1.5million.

Madine has turned his career around during his time with the Trotters and recently became the first player since Nicolas Anelka to register 10-or-more goals in back-to-back seasons.

He remains contracted to the club until the end of next season, but with Cardiff and now Swansea City said to be interested, the final 24 hours of the window could prove pivotal in the clubs hopes of retaining their Championship status.
