Peter Bankes will referee Saturday's Sky Bet Championship fixture between Bolton and Ipswich Town at Macron Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-0 defeat at Brentford last Saturday, while Town were 1-0 winners at home to Leeds United that same afternoon.

Bankes, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 26 matches so far this season - issuing 89 yellow cards and six red.

His most recent outing was on January 6, when he was the man in the middle for Preston North End's 5-1 victory at Wycombe Wanderers in the third round of the FA Cup. The Merseyside official produced one yellow card in that game - to North End substitute Andy Boyle.

Bankes' last match in charge of Bolton was in April 2017, when they were beaten 1-0 by Oldham Athletic in a League One clash at SportsDirect.com Park. Two cautions were issued that afternoon, including one to Wanderers defender Dorian Dervite, while Latics forward Michael Ngoo was later sent off.

The last time he refereed an Ipswich fixture was in December 2017, as they ran out 2-0 winners over Reading in a Championship encounter at Portman Road. Seven players entered the book that day, including Tractor Boys trio Jonas Knudsen, Adam Webster and Martyn Waghorn.

Below is the full set of officials for Saturday's game between Bolton and Ipswich:
