Andy Davies will referee Saturday's Sky Bet Championship fixture between Brentford and Bolton at Griffin Park.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-1 defeat at home to Huddersfield Town in the third round of the FA Cup last Saturday, while the Bees were beaten 1-0 by Notts County that same afternoon.

Davies, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 14 matches so far this season - issuing 51 yellow cards and one red.

His most recent outing was on January 1, when he was the man in the middle for Aston Villa's 5-0 victory over Bristol City in the Championship. The Hampshire official produced one yellow card in that game, which went to Robins defender Nathan Baker.

Davies' last match in charge of Bolton was in August 2017, when they drew 1-1 with Millwall in a Championship clash at The Den. Five cautions were issued that afternoon, with Andrew Taylor, Reece Burke and Jem Karacan amongst the recipients.

The last time he refereed a Brentford fixture was in September 2017, as they came from behind to claim a 1-1 draw with Derby County in a Championship encounter at Griffin Park. Eight players entered the book that evening, including the Bees trio of Henrik Dalsgaard, Ryan Woods and Ollie Watkins.
