Simon Hooper will referee Friday's Sky Bet Championship fixture between Preston North End and Bolton at Deepdale.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-1 victory at home to Norwich City prior to the international break, while North End were beaten 3-0 at Ipswich Town on that same afternoon.

Hooper, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 17 matches so far this season - issuing 49 yellow cards and one red.

His most recent outing was on November 7, when he was the man in the middle for Cheltenham Town's 2-1 win at Newport County in the group stage of the Checkatrade Trophy. The Wiltshire official kept his cards in his pocket in that game.

Hooper's last match in charge of Bolton was on September 19, when they were beaten 3-0 at West Ham United in the third round of the Carabao Cup. Three cautions were issued that evening, two of which were shown to Wanderers duo Andrew Taylor and Darren Pratley.

The last time he refereed a Preston fixture was on March 4, as they lost 3-1 to Fulham in a Championship encounter at Craven Cottage. Two players entered the book that afternoon - North End duo Greg Cunningham and Ben Pearson.

Below is the full set of officials for Friday's game between Preston and Bolton:
