Tony Harrington will referee Tuesday's Sky Bet Championship fixture between Sunderland and Bolton at the Stadium of Light.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw at Fulham on Saturday, while the Black Cats were beaten 2-1 on home soil by Bristol City on the same afternoon.

Harrington, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 13 matches so far this season - issuing 51 yellow cards and two red.

His most recent outing was on October 28, when he was the man in the middle for Queens Park Rangers' 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Loftus Road. The Cleveland official produced four yellow cards in that game, three of which went to members of the home side.

Harrington's last match in charge of Bolton was on September 26, when they were beaten 2-0 by Bristol City in a Championship clash at Ashton Gate. Five cautions were issued that evening, whilst Wanderers midfielder Filipe Morais was dismissed in first-half stoppage-time.

He has never previously refereed a Sunderland fixture.
