Charlton Athletic manager Karl Robinson has praised the recent performances of Ben Amos, whilst also admitting he'd like to sign the goalkeeper on a permanent basis.
Amos is currently on a season-long loan with the Addicks, who find themselves occupying 4th-place in League One, and was in outstanding form as they secured a 1-0 victory at promotion rivals Bradford City last weekend.
The 27-year-old is due to return to Bolton at the end of the season, when he will still have 12 months remaining on his contract, but Robinson believes there could be a future for the former Manchester United stopper at The Valley.
"We appreciate him internally and I think now the fans think we have got ourselves a good goalkeeper here," Robinson told South London Press. "We just wish we had him permanently.
"We always knew he hadn't played for a while and it would take two or three weeks for him to get up and running.
"He's a beast. Listen, he's going to drop crosses - I'm asking him to come for everything. But if he can't catch it he punches it. If he misses it he makes sure the striker doesn't get it, and he makes great saves."
