Charlton Athletic have completed the signing of Ben Amos on a season-long loan deal from Bolton.
Amos, who has two years remaining on his contract with Wanderers, has fallen behind Mark Howard, Ben Alnwick and Jake Turner in the pecking order at Macron Stadium and is seemingly surplus to requirements after also spending the previous campaign out on loan, at Cardiff City.
The 27-year-old is keen to get his career back on track, having initially come through the ranks at Manchester United, and he admits his goal is to repeat Bolton's success of last season and achieve promotion to the Championship.
"I'm really happy to have signed and I'm looking forward to getting back playing again," Amos told Charlton's official website.
"This is a massive club, promotion is our ultimate goal and I hope that I can play my part in helping Charlton to be successful."
In total, Amos has made 53 appearances during his time at Bolton and, at just 13%, has the lowest win percentage of any player to have played a minimum of 50 times in the club's entire history.
