Conor Wilkinson's time at Bolton has come to an end after he completed a permanent move to Gillingham.

Wilkinson joined Wanderers from Millwall in July 2013 and made his senior debut in August of the following year, in a 3-2 EFL Cup victory over Bury at Macron Stadium.

The 22-year-old went on to make 17 appearances during his time with the club, failing to score, whilst also having mixed success during spells on loan at Chester, Torquay United, Oldham Athletic, Barnsley, Newport County, Portsmouth and Chesterfield.

The former Republic of Ireland under-21 international had 12 months left to run on his contract at Bolton but was told he was free to look for a new club shortly after they won promotion to the Championship at the end of last season.

Wilkinson has signed a two-year deal at Gillingham, whilst terms of any fee involved have remained undisclosed.
