Following on from reports that Bolton could owe Oldham Athletic money over ticket sales, it has since emerged Wanderers are yet to receive a loan payment for Chris Taylor.

Latics CEO Mark Moisley admitted last week that the club struggle to operate throughout the summer months, in a statement where he revealed they are yet to receive ticket money from a side that took a 'big following' to Park in April - believed to be Bolton.

The Oldham Chronicle have since reported the dispute between the clubs could continue, however, with a loan payment yet to switch hands following Taylor's move across Lancashire in January.

Taylor, who joined Bolton on a free transfer from Blackburn Rovers in July 2016, struggled to make an impact during his debut campaign at Macron Stadium and was allowed to join Oldham on loan for the second half of the season.

He made 16 appearances as John Sheridan's side secured safety in League One and could yet make the move permanent, where he would re-join a Latics side he previously represented between 2005 and 2012.
