Bolton Wanderers have settled a dispute with Heathcote & Co, bringing an close to a row that had looked set to end in court.

Heathcote & Co, the official catering partner at Macron Stadium and Bolton Whites Hotel, had been seeking to issue a winding-up petition against the club over unpaid invoices amounting to a figure in the region of £120,000.

Wanderers chairman Ken Anderson revealed on February 1 that the club was owed a similar fee by the catering company and had been knocked back in his attempts to offset the two balances against each other.

Anderson has now confirmed a settlement has been reached, stating: "I had a meeting with Specialist Catering Company/Heathcotes, our catering partner, yesterday and I am pleased to say that we have resolved the recent issues and are now focusing on moving everything forward, hopefully, for the better."
