Ahead of the upcoming FA Cup third-round tie between Bolton and Crystal Palace, Lee Chung-Yong admits he is looking forward to returning to Macron Stadium.

Chung-Yong, now of Palace, played 195 times for Wanderers between 2009 and 2015 before completing a cut-price £500,000 transfer to Selhurst Park.

The South Korea international has played 33 times since that move, starting on just 13 occasions, and faces an uncertain future under the guidance of Alan Pardew.

Whatever the future may hold, Chung-Yong admits he still looks out for Bolton's results and he is looking forward to renewing acquaintances with some familiar faces on January 7, 2017.

"I am looking forward to playing at the Macron Stadium again," Chung-Yong told the Croydon Advertiser.

"I had good years there and it will be nice to go back there - I still support Bolton Wanderers.

"I think it will be good to go back there and see everyone and I am feeling good about it."
