Alex Samizadeh marked his Chorley debut with a goal, coming off the bench to score in their 2-0 victory at Gainsborough Trinity.

Samizadeh, who last week celebrated his 18th birthday, linked up with the Magpies on Friday in a work-experience loan deal that will run through until the end of the year.

The Iran-born forward, who remains eligible for development squad fixtures with Wanderers, latched on to a flick from Marcus Carver before slotting home with seven minutes to play to seal an away win for Matt Jansen's side.

Samizadeh has two senior appearances under his belt at Bolton and last season attracted interest from Championship club Derby County.
