In a change to a previous listing, Jeremy Simpson will now referee Sunday's League One fixture between Peterborough United and Bolton.

Mark Heywood had been due to take charge of the clash at the ABAX Stadium, but has been removed from duty over the weekend and replaced with Simpson.

Simpson has officiated 15 matches so far this season - issuing 74 yellow cards and one red.

His most recent outing was on November 5, when he was the man in the middle for Bury's 2-2 draw with AFC Wimbledon in the FA Cup. The Lancashire official produced five yellow cards in that game.

Simpson's last match in charge of Bolton was on February 20, when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Queens Park Rangers at Macron Stadium. Two cautions were issued that afternoon, both of which went to the away side.

The last time he refereed a Peterborough fixture was in November 2015, as they ran out 4-0 winners at Scunthorpe United in League One. Three players entered the book that day, including Posh defender Andrew Fox.

Below is an updated list of officials for Sunday's game between Peterborough and Bolton:

Referee: Jeremy Simpson
Assistant Referees: David Plowright and Robert Massey-Ellis
Fourth Official: Nicholas Kinseley
