Sammy Ameobi's long-range strike in Bolton's victory at Millwall has been voted as October's Goal of the Month, by Burnden Aces readers.
Ameobi, who opened his Wanderers goalscoring account in the Checkatrade Trophy win over Blackpool earlier in the same month, netted his first in league action for the Trotters as they cruised to all three points at The Den.
The on-loan Newcastle United winger narrowly saw off competition from Lawrie Wilson to take the award, while Zach Clough's fine individual goal against Port Vale finished in third place.
