Kevin Friend will referee Tuesday's Checkatrade Trophy fixture between Bolton and Blackpool at Macron Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-0 defeat at home to Oxford United on Saturday, while the Seasiders were beaten 1-0 at Crawley Town on the same afternoon.

Friend, who will take charge of the game, has officiated four matches so far this season - issuing 23 yellow cards and no red.

His most recent outing was on September 24, when he was the man in the middle for Sheffield Wednesday's 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest in the Championship. The Leicestershire official produced four yellow cards in that game.

Friend's last match in charge of Bolton was in January 2015, when they held Liverpool to a goalless draw at Anfield in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Four cautions were issued that evening, with Wanderers' Matt Mills, Dorian Dervite, Darren Pratley and Josh Vela all having their names taken.

The last time he refereed a Blackpool fixture was in May 2014, as they were beaten 3-0 by Charlton Athletic at Bloomfield Road. Two players entered the book that day, both of whom were on the visiting Addicks side.

Below is the full set of officials for Tuesday's game between Bolton and Blackpool:
