Wigan Athletic have completed the signing of Kaiyne Woolery, who moves to the DW Stadium for an undisclosed fee reported to be in the region of £200,000.

Woolery has signed a three-year contract with the Latics and becomes the latest in a string of former Wanderers players to pitch up with the Championship side - following in the footsteps of names such as Craig Davies, Andy Kellett and Sanmi Odelusi.

The 21-year-old moved to Bolton in a £10,000 transfer from Tamworth in August 2014 and made his senior debut as a late substitute in defeat at Bournemouth in April 2015.

Woolery, who was due to fall out of contract at the end of the season, went on to make a total of 24 appearances for Wanderers, scoring three goals, with his final outing coming in the Checkatrade Trophy loss to Everton U23 on Tuesday.
