Yeovil Town have completed the signing of Tom Eaves, who joins on a free transfer following his release by Bolton.

Eaves has signed a 12-month contract with the League Two side and will be familiar with his new surroundings at Huish Park, having represented the Glovers during a brief loan spell in 2014/15 - where he failed to score in seven appearances.

Having joined Wanderers from Oldham Athletic in August 2010, Eaves went on to have loan spells at Bristol Rovers, Shrewsbury Town, Rotherham United and Bury, as well as Yeovil, and made five senior appearances during his time at Macron Stadium.

The 24-year-old's last outing in a Trotters shirt came as a stoppage time substitute in a 4-3 defeat to Watford in February 2015, after which he fell out of favour due to a combination of poor form and injuries.
