Doncaster Rovers have completed the signing of Tyler Garratt, who joins from Bolton for an undisclosed fee reported to be in the region of £25,000.
After spells at Lincoln City and Costa Unida, Garratt linked up with the Wanderers academy in 2013 and progressed into the first-team at the end of last season, making three senior appearances.
Despite receiving assurances that he would be offered a first professional contract at Macron Stadium, developments failed to materialise and the 19-year-old has taken the option to link up with the League Two side after his scholarship came to an end, signing a three-year deal at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The two clubs have agreed a deal that includes a number of add-on clauses, including additional fees attached to appearances, promotion and sell-ons.
