Reports in Croatia suggest Jimmy Phillips is in contention to be offered the role of Sporting Director at Hajduk Split.
Hajduk finished third in this season's Maxtv Prva Liga, securing their place in the second qualifying round of next season's UEFA Europa League, and have already began preparations for the new campaign.
Phillips, who spent the final nine games of this season in interim charge of Bolton, is said to be considering his future at Macron Stadium and an alternative to his full-time position in charge of the club's academy appears to have arisen.
As per a report by Vecernji list, Phillips reportedly held discussions with Hajduk president Ivan Kos during a recent family holiday and is one of several names to be in the running for the post.
