Ryan Giggs has emerged as a leading candidate for the vacant managerial position at Bolton, with bookmakers making him odds-on for the role.
Giggs, who is heavily reported to be on his way out of his job as assistant manager at Manchester United, is said to be ready to embark upon his own journey in charge of a football club.
The 42-year-old has lived in the area for many years, including owning property in nearby Blackrod, and factor that would likely be key to a successful transition into what would be a first non-interim management role in his own right.
At the time of writing, Giggs is listed as the 1/4 favourite by Sky Bet, with Brian McDermott, Russell Slade and Nigel Adkins also said to be in contention to succeed Neil Lennon at Macron Stadium.
