Eddie Ilderton will referee Tuesday's Championship fixture between Bolton and Charlton Athletic at Macron Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-1 defeat at home to Middlesbrough on Saturday, while the Addicks were beaten 1-0 by Derby County on the same afternoon.

Ilderton, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 28 matches so far this season - issuing 62 yellow cards and four red.

His most recent outing was on April 9, when he was the man in the middle fo York City's 1-1 draw with Wycombe Wanderers in League Two. The Tyne & Wear official produced three yellow cards in that game.

Ilderton's last match in charge of Bolton was on January 16, when they were beaten 3-0 by Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. Wanderers' Dean Moxey was the only player to be cautioned that day, although goalkeeper Ben Amos received a straight-red card.

The last time he refereed a Charlton fixture was in February 2014, as they ran out 1-0 winners over Queens Park Rangers at The Valley. One player entered the book that day - Addicks midfielder Johnnie Jackson.
