Keith Stroud will referee Saturday's Championship fixture between Bolton and Middlesbrough at Macron Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 4-1 defeat at Derby County, a result which confirmed their relegation to League One next season, while Boro continued their quest for automatic promotion to the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Preston North End.

Stroud, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 40 matches so far this season - issuing 171 yellow cards and 11 red.

His most recent outing was on April 9, when he was the man in the middle for Barnet's 3-0 victory over Leyton Orient in League Two. The Hampshire official produced three yellow cards in that game.

Stroud's last match in charge of Bolton was in April 2015, when they were 3-0 winners away at Cardiff City. One player was cautioned that day - Wanderers' Josh Vela.

The last time he refereed a Middlesbrough fixture was in October 2015, as they were beaten 2-0 by Reading at the Madejski Stadium. Three players entered the book that day, two of which were on the visiting Boro side.
