Names synonymous with Bolton Wanderers will return to Macron Stadium on May 14, 2016, after a special legends match was announced.

Two teams, captained by Tony Kelly and John McGinlay, will take to the field one more time, in an event organised in partnership between Bolton Wanderers Community Trust and the Bolton Wanderers Supporters' Trust.

The attendance of former captains Kevin Nolan and Gudni Bergsson has been confirmed, while names including Ricardo Gardner, Ivan Klasnic and Michael Johansen have also added their names to the list.

Local celebrities Paddy McGuinness and Danny Jones are also scheduled to take part, with a full list of former players and guests set to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
