The Bolton Wanderers Supporters' Trust (BWFCST) have announced a date for their first official meeting, as well as a deadline for elections to the board.
BWFCST have made significant progress since January 6, when a number close to 1,000 voted in favour of its creation at an inaugural meeting at Macron Stadium.
Around 6,000 individuals pledged to become a member of the Trust in the weeks that followed, while more than 1,000 of those have since converted that statement of intent into an annual membership - at the cost of £10 for the year.
Open to all, both members and non-members, BWFCST now hope to build on their early progress by inviting fans to Macron Stadium's Premier Suite on March 31, where they will have an opportunity to take part in a Q&A with the steering group. Doors open at 19:00, for a 19:45 start.
Once the Trust is in a position to push forward, the initial steering group will stand aside and a new board will be elected.
While no official date has been set for this process, the Trust has announced a deadline of April 25 for anybody wishing to put their name in contention for election. Supporters will still be able to become a member after this date, but will be ineligible for election in the first instance.
Tickets for the event can be obtained through BWFCST.co.uk, which are free of charge.
