Conor Wilkinson will report to training at Bolton on Monday, after his loan spell at Newport County came to an end.

Wilkinson has spent the last two months on loan with the League Two side, making a total of 12 appearances, playing his part in helping the club move clear of relegation out of the Football League.

The 21-year-old, who had a spell on loan at Barnsley earlier in the campaign, netted on his debut for Warren Feeney's side, but failed to net in a further nine starts and two substitute outings for the Exiles.

Wilkinson has two years remaining on his contract at Bolton but, despite making several appearances during Neil Lennon's early days as manager, appears to have fallen out-of-favour at Macron Stadium and may be one of several names tipped for a summer departure.
