Paul Tierney will referee Saturday's Championship fixture between Bolton and Preston North End at Macron Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw against Ipswich Town on Tuesday, while the Lilywhites were beaten 1-0 at Nottingham Forest on the same evening.

Tierney, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 32 matches so far this season - issuing 92 yellow cards and two red.

His most recent outing was on March 8, when he was the man in the middle for Huddersfield Town's 3-1 victory over Reading at the John Smith's Stadium. The Lancashire official produced three yellow cards that evening.

Tierney's last match in charge of Bolton was in August 2015, when they held Blackburn Rovers to a goalless draw at Ewood Park. Eight players were cautioned that night, five of whom were on the visiting Wanderers side, while Dorian Dervite was dismissed in stoppage time for a second bookable offence.

The last time he refereed a Preston fixture was in December 2014, as they secured a 1-0 win over Barnsley in League One. Four players entered the book that day, with them being shared equally at two per side.

Below is the full set of officials for Saturday's game between Bolton and Preston:
