Newport County have extended the loan of Bolton forward Conor Wilkinson, who will now remain with the club up to and including March 20, 2016.
Wilkinson joined the League Two strugglers in January and has made four appearances to date, scoring once.
The 20-year-old, who is contracted to Bolton until the summer of 2018, has impressed during his time at Rodney Parade and Exiles boss Warren Feeney admitted to being delighted at keeping hold of the Republic of Ireland under-21 international for a further month.
"He is a player that certainly has ability, and causes problems for defenders," Feeney told Newport's official website.
"Conor has struck up a good partnership with Scott Boden up front and he is an intelligent player.
"He has taken on board little pieces of advice that the staff have given him and I think he gives us another option going forward and I'm delighted with the performances that he has produced so far.
"I'm pleased that we have managed to arrange a deal to extend the loan and have to say thank you to Bolton Wanderers for allowing us to keep Conor for another month."
