Jeremy Simpson will referee Saturday's Championship fixture between Bolton and Queens Park Rangers at Macron Stadium.

Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 3-2 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, while Rangers were beaten 3-1 at home by Fulham earlier that day.

Simpson, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 23 matches so far this season - issuing 83 yellow cards and three red.

His most recent outing was on January 30, when he was the man in the middle for York City's 2-1 home victory over Stevenage in League Two. The Lancashire official produced one yellow card in that game, to away forward Aaron O'Connor.

Simpson's last match in charge of Bolton was in August 2014, when they required extra-time to secure a 3-2 win at home to Bury in the League Cup. Two players were cautioned that evening, both of whom were on the visiting side.

The last time he refereed a QPR fixture was in August 2013, as they were 2-0 winners at Exeter City in the previous campaign's League Cup competition. No players entered the book on that occasion.

Below is the full set of officials for Saturday's game between Bolton and QPR:

Referee: Jeremy Simpson
Assistant Referees: Nicholas Hopton and Joe Clark
Fourth Official: David Webb
