Stuart Attwell will referee Saturday's Championship fixture between Bolton and Rotherham United at Macron Stadium.
Wanderers go into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw at Wolves on Tuesday night, while the Millers were beaten 4-1 at home by Charlton Athletic three days earlier.
Attwell, who will take charge of the game, has officiated 30 matches so far this season - issuing 83 yellow cards and three red.
His most recent outing was on February 2, when he was the man in the middle for Manchester City's 1-0 win at Sunderland in the Premier League. The Warwickshire official produced five yellow cards in that game, four of which were given to the away side.
Attwell's last match in charge of Bolton was in November 2015, when they were held to a goalless draw on home soil by Bristol City. Five players were booked that afternoon, including Jose Manuel Casado, Jay Spearing and Mark Davies.
The last time he refereed a Rotherham fixture was in August 2014, as they were beaten 2-0 by Brentford at the AESSEAL New York Stadium. Two players were cautioned that day, both of which were in the visiting Bees side.
