Prince-Desir Gouano appears to have played his final game for Bolton, after it was revealed he has held discussions over a move to Turkey.

Gouano joined Wanderers on a season-long loan from Italian side Atalanta in August and was outstanding on his debut in a goalless draw against Derby County, drawing comparisons to the likes of Gudni Bergsson and Florent Laville.

The 22-year-old has since gone on to make 19 appearances for the Trotters, but hasn't featured since a 2-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town on January 2 in part due to a knee injury and also because of a major dip in form.

He was named in Neil Lennon's 19-man matchday squad for Saturday's FA Cup tie against Leeds United, but was the unfortunate name left off the final teamsheet and, speaking after the game, the Bolton boss confirmed the former Juventus defender was likely to move on before Monday's transfer deadline.
