Prince-Desir Gouano's loan spell at Bolton is over, after parent club Atalanta opted to send the defender to Turkish side Gaziantepspor for the rest of the season.

Gouano joined Wanderers on a season-long loan deal in August and was outstanding on his debut, in a goalless draw against Derby County, but had fallen out-of-favour at Macron Stadium in recent months due to a combination of indifferent form and injuries.

The 22-year-old hadn't featured since January 2, when Bolton were beaten 2-0 by Huddersfield Town, and manager Neil Lennon agreed to terminate the player's deal as the club desperately attempt to lower their wage bill.

Gouano, more commonly known as Prince, will now spend the remainder of the campaign with Gaziantepspor, with the Turkish side having the option to make the deal permanent in the summer.

During his time at Bolton, Gouano made a total of 19 appearances.
