Bolton face a strike problem ahead of Saturday's visit of Leeds United, with Stephen Dobbie potentially the only senior forward available for selection.

Having seen off non-league Eastleigh in the third round of the FA Cup, albeit via a replay, Wanderers welcome Championship opposition on what will be a record setting afternoon at Macron Stadium, with roughly 6,800 away supporters set to be in attendance.

After victory over MK Dons last Saturday handed Neil Lennon's side back-to-back wins for the first time in 13 months, the Trotters will book a place in the last 16 of the competition should they manage to pick up a third successive victory for the first time since April 2014.

If they are to do that, though, they will have to overcome the likely absences of injury victims Zach Clough (hip) and Emile Heskey (calf). The duo returned to training this week, but look set to be rested ahead of Tuesday's trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Another forward facing a late fitness test is Gary Madine, who has struggled over the last fortnight with a minor groin problem that has forced him to be replaced late in games, while Shola Ameobi is no longer at the club following the expiry of his short-term contract.

Max Clayton and David Wheater remain sidelined with hamstring injuries, while Jose Manuel Casado has also departed Bolton after following Ameobi through the exit door.

Prince-Desir Gouano could return after missing recent games with a knee problem, while the nature of cup football could provide opportunities for the likes of Jay Spearing, Neil Danns and Derik Osede.

Leeds boss Steve Evans looks set to be without leading goalscorer Chris Wood, after he limped out of the midweek draw at Brentford with a recurrence of a hamstring injury which had forced him to miss the previous four games.

Toumani Diagouraga could be handed a first start after a recent move from last Tuesday' opponents, while Alex Mowatt could return after sitting out that game with a dead leg.
