Lawrie Wilson made his debut for Peterborough United on Saturday, after joining the League One promotion contenders on an initial one-month loan deal.
As Bolton supporters awaited team news ahead of their defeat at home to Huddersfield Town, Wilson was a surprise name amongst the Posh substitutes at Bramall Lane as they prepared to take on Sheffield United.
With the game level at 1-1, Wilson was introduced as a half-time substitute for Andrew Fox and helped his new side to a 3-2 victory that cements them in 6th place and final play-off position.
Wilson featured in each of Wanderers' opening nine games following his summer arrival from Charlton Athletic, but hadn't figured since a 4-1 defeat at Huddersfield on September 19. He remains under contract at Macron Stadium until June 2017.
